I am very pleased welcome you to this Web site for Garlinge Methodist Church, as we would offer to all who come to our Church. As you will see from the photographs on this site, our Church Building is a blend of both the modern and traditional, and this is reflected in our worship too.
However, to us, a church is more than just the building. We strongly believe that a church is made up of people. We want to be a living church, and to provide a warm and caring fellowship as we seek to extend the love of Jesus to all we have contact with. Together with pastoral care, worship and teaching are our main priorities. It is our aim to grow in our spiritual life, and in our knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for visiting our Web site, I hope that on another occasion you will visit our church, and I look forward to welcoming you in person.
The Garlinge Methodist church is situated at the junction of the A28, Canterbury Road (Westbrook) and Garlinge High Street, near Margate in Kent.
From Margate Centre: Follows the signs to Canterbury and London. On passing the Dog and Duck Pub on your right, go over the bridge, eventuality you arrive at a set of pedestrian lights. Turn into the slip road on the left immediately before the lights into Garlinge High Street and the church is visible to your left.
From the London direction Follow the A28 through Birchington and Westgate. On leaving the dual carriageway, approach a set of pedestrian traffic lights. Go through these lights and turn right into Garlinge High Street. You can see the church and hall in front of you.

There is a car park beside the church hall and the main church door faces onto the A28. The church is wheelchair accessible and open for all. There are facilities for people with disabilities including a loop system. (See Facilities.)
