The Alpha Course

What is the point of life?

What happens when we die?

Is forgiveness possible?

What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?

These are some of the questions asked by people who have been on our Alpha courses.

What is Alpha?

The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the meaning of life.

The relaxed sessions have a friendly, non-threatening atmosphere in order to give people the chance to learn about the Christian faith..

Each course includes a shared meal giving you an opportunity to get to know people on the course and to make new friends.

Listen, learn, discuss and discover. Each person should feel free to ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

The Alpha course is supported by all the main Christian denominations.

What's involved?

The Alpha course  consists of a series of talks looking at topics such as Who is Jesus? and Why and how do I pray? After each talk or video we divide into small groups for a time of discussion and questions.
