Services Times

FRIDAYS: THE CHURCH IS NOW OPEN 10AM TO NOON FOR PRIVATE PRAYERS.

Main Service every Sunday at 10 am

Holy Communion:   is  a celebration of Jesus' last supper. Participants receive bread and wine representing the body and blood of Jesus Christ. This is an act of  remembrance of Jesus Christ and all who know and love the Lord are invited to take communion.

Family Services:  take place on the third Sunday in the month. Families are always welcomed, but this service has additional focus on young people. It is during this service our Rainbows, Brownies and Guides parade.

Jesus and Me (JAM): the modern form of Sunday school, held during the morning services either in the hall or friendship lounge. It is open for all children to join in cheerful activity of reading, drawing and painting of biblical and Christians scriptures.

Celebration Services and Songs of Praise: Becoming a Christian doesn't means we have to be dull or boring. We can and are joyful to the lord and each others. We have much to be thankful for.

Healing Services:   an informal service centred on prayer. In each service there is an invitation for people to receive the ministry of prayer. Prayer can be for any concern whether it is on mental or physical health, work, family, for understanding the relationship between yourself and God.

Keith personal view:    I finds healing services of particular value for me. During the service, I feel much closer to Jesus and the father; and becomes more receptive than at any other times. While I enjoy good heath and thankful for it. I am not so sure of my spiritual health. While Doctors and medicine aids the physical body. I feel at times, when my spirit is low or poorly it may effect the physical body. I finds, only God can offer effective treatment of the spirit.

Home Groups and Women’s Fellowship

Our Church has a policy of home or fellowship groups.  These can meet at a time to suit the members, at the moment most groups meet in the evening.  Within the church there are three types of home groups, which meet on a regular basis.  These groups provide the chance to meet with people of a like mind and to grow in friendship and trust.  The groups also provide a support forum as well as a chance to learn more about our Father in an informal setting.

The specifics of each group can vary according to the membership for example at the moment the groups are sponsoring a third world child.

 Fellowship group

These meetings take place in various homes.  We meet together to spend time talking, sharing and enjoying a pleasant evening with congenial company.  In addition the fellowship provides a support forum with the chance to meet with people and to grow in friendship and trust.

 Bible Study

The purpose of this group is obvious from the title.  The group meets to study in an informal setting.  The study is usually lead by the minister and often follows a theme e.g. at the time this was added to the website the theme was “The Gifts of The Spirit”.  Other methods of study are used at times including an in-depth look at specific chapters or books.

 Prayer Group

The instructions to pray and the importance of prayer are well documented in The Bible.  God always answers prayer and it is an important part of our life with the Father.

As well as praying for church members and issues the group will include intercessory prayer.  It is an important part of a Christian’s life to pray for the community, country and world.  It is especially important to pray in times of trouble or great need.  We believe that prayer can bring about great changes and miracles.

 Women’s Fellowship

The women’s fellowship is a small group that meets, in the church hall, on Wednesday afternoons at 2.30pm.  The group enjoys discussions and activities that vary week by week.  Most meetings include afternoon tea, devotions, quizzes and much more.  The fellowship is always ready to welcome new members to join us.
